Louisiana Documentary Family Photography | Ascension Parish
This family was so much fun to play around with. Mom Tracey has been a huge supporter of me and my work for a long time. So I was so honored when she asked me to photograph her family and gave me complete carte blanche on the whole thing. She was a little worried that three kids. One senior, one teen and one pre-teen. They were going to be a little hard to handle. But the kids did great! We got some awesome documentary shots of them playing frisbee and basketball, and we even got poor Zach’s one and only basket as the kids were playing – but it was nothing but net!
After we loosened up a little and got to know one another, we headed out for some nice portraits. Garrett is a senior this year, so Mom wanted lots of pretty shots to put in his graduation invitations. The weather was perfect thanks to the gorgeous spring weather we’ve been having lately, and we got plenty of great shots to beautify Mom’s walls. I can’t wait to see these in print!
