I’m so excited to share Jacob and Afton’s Denham Springs Wedding Photography with you guys! These two were the absolute sweetest couple – and so freaking talented with wedding planning that it’s just insane. Their wedding took place on Afton’s family farm, out in a beautiful field near their house, which Afton’s mom and family had done an amazing job preparing and decorating. And check out that arbor that Jacob MADE! Who makes an entire wedding arbor, complete with chandelier? Jacob and company, that’s who.
Jacob was SO intent on not seeing or knowing anything even remotely related to Afton’s wedding dress, or hair, or makeup, or ANYTHING before the wedding – it was so sweet that he wanted to be totally surprised when he saw her walk down the aisle. So, of course, we totally had to make sure we got his reaction. He BEAMED when she emerged from behind the curtain, and she was all smiles for him too! I’m so glad the weather held out and provided a gorgeous day for an outdoor ceremony, despite having some rain in the forecast – the weather really doesn’t get much better than this in south Louisiana!
The reception following was just as well thought out. beautiful and fun – Jacob had a doughnut cake as his groom’s cake, y’all! How cool is that?
After lots of dancing and great food, everyone sent the new couple on their way to their honeymoon with glow sticks and streamers.
