So - this chick right here is kinda special to me. My mother was in a pretty horrific car accident six months ago, and she came really close to not making it through. But--because she's pretty much super-human--my mom not only made it, but was able to start walking again not long after. Brooke here was her main therapist, and was a vital part of my mom's physical therapy routine. She's every bit as sweet as she is beautiful, so when she asked me to take her bridal portraits for her upcoming wedding, I was ALL over it!
Rosedown Plantation in St. Francisville is always one of my favorite locations for bridal sessions - the staff is always so friendly, the scenery is gorgeous, and there's plenty of shade to help keep you keep cool during breaks. For this particular session, there was a busload of tourists who were visiting while on break from a marriage retreat. Nothing like friendly strangers calling out marriage tips to you as you're running around a plantation in your wedding dress, right?
SPEAKING of wedding dresses, how gorgeous was this one? I loved the detail of this gown - Brooke selected a shot showing off that gorgeous back for her display canvas, and it made me so happy!
Okay, enough babbling - more images! Congrats, Brooke - thanks for being sweet AND gorgeous and making me look good. ;)
