I love chill people. Stephanie and Stephen were just such people – you’d never guess that the stress of wedding planning had ever occurred to either of these two. Their whole day was so laid back, and fun, and calm – no bride (or groom)-zillas, here!
These two got married at The Roux House in downtown Baton Rouge. One of the venue’s coolest features is the ability to have your names on a marquee to celebrate your wedded bliss. How cool is that!? SO cool – that’s how. All of their friends and family members were so excited for these two, all day long. The whole day went just perfectly – right down to the confetti cannon exit!
We started the day getting the girls’ hair and makeup done at Salon du Sud. Â A mimosa (or two) was had, and the girls there did a phenomenal job making everyone look extra-flawless.
When it came time for the guys to get ready, it came as a shock to no one that they had to Google how to tie a tie! 😉 If I only had a dollar for every time last-minute internet research has saved the day…
When the ceremony time came, everything went flawlessly – despite some last-minute nerves on Stephanie’s part! The couple chose to have a friend officiate their ceremony, which is always a great choice. Having someone who knows and loves you marry you is so significant, and will be memorable forever!
And everyone knows that we here in Baton Rouge know how to party – so when the reception time came, everyone had a blast, and danced all night long.
