A little Baton Rouge engagement session magic for you, right here! At the Armory Capitol Park.
I loved these two from the start – seriously. We met when Brad hired me to shoot a surprise proposal session for them. While it took us a while to coordinate engagements due to their crazy schedules, I think it was more than worth the wait!
Brad and Allison are both in the medical field, working at Our Lady of the Lake. As you can imagine, their shift schedules don’t often align perfectly!
While normally I recommend that couples avoid scheduling sessions in the middle of the day, that’s the only time that worked out for these guys. So, photographing at noon it was!
As hot as it was, the two of them nonetheless managed to look flawless. I, on the other hand, probably looked like I was melting in the heat!
Good thing that it doesn’t matter what I look like, right? 😉
Luckily, there are lots of spots in downtown Baton Rouge around Capitol Park and the Armory that provide shade. We took full advantage of it, too! The bamboo on the Armory grounds, as well as some covered areas near the levee served us more than well.
