I had the great pleasure of doing Wedding Photography for Ryan and Madi at the City Club of Baton Rouge a while back, and holy cow – were these two *perfection*, or what? Ryan was the best kind of clown, keeping everyone laughing all day long – and Madi was elegance, and grace, and love and joy just shone from that woman all day long. It was magic, and I couldn’t have been happier to be a part of their night! I love photographing in downtown Baton Rouge – the vibe is just the right mix of historic and fun and all kinds of awesome.
Check out some of my favorite images of these two getting hitched!
Did I see this guy NOT laughing at pretty much any point in the day? Possibly – but I sure can’t remember a time offhand.
Bro love – gotta love it.
If there’s anything predictable about kids at weddings, it’s that they’re completely unpredictable.
This man could not have been more excited to see his bride – seriously.
A little dance, a little booty shake…all in the usual routine of a first look – right?
I love that Madi gave him the ol’ butt tap. 😉
Probably the funniest mother/son moment ever, for me. SECONDS before walking down the aisle, Ryan’s mom whips out an entire can of hairspray from her clutch to touch him up. I’m not even sure how that thing FIT in there, man. And…I will neither confirm nor deny that she pulled a Mom move just after this, and used a little spit and wipe action to really set the “look”! Ryan’s reaction was…fun. 😉
Not sure what he said, exactly – but I’m about 99% sure it was naughty.
I couldn’t get over the glow this woman had on her face, every time she looked at Ryan. <3
There are few better ways to start a marriage than with a little laughter.
This first dance was KILLER. No one else in the room existed but these two, for them.
They said he had to give her away – no one said dad couldn’t shed a tear about it.
Madi was holding on for all she was worth to her daddy. <3
These two right here…they photobombed the whole night. And I loved every second of it. They were a hoot!
Crying parents are awesome. I’m just sayin’. I’m gonna relate to this one day, I just know it!
Sorority chanting at weddings – this is always fun!
