Downtown Baton Rouge, you guys. It’s one of my very favorite locations for Baton Rouge Couples Photography sessions, and for good reason.
You can park your car in one spot, and have access to so many different “looks” for your photographs. And the grounds are so iconic, filled with history and greenery depending on which path your feet take you along.
Elizabeth and Nathanael were married just a few short months ago, and I was lucky enough to photograph these two getting hitched–and it was magical. So, when they asked me to shoot a portrait session of them in an iconic Louisiana setting before they moved (this tough-as-nails-chick is enlisting!), I was so excited. I had such a great time making a few last Louisiana memories with them in Capitol Park and around the armory.
The capitol building, the rose garden, the armory grounds – all of these spots are so “Louisiana”!
Oh, and did I mention that Elizabeth is not only stunningly beautiful, she is also a total bad-ass? She’s not enlisting to do the easy stuff, you guys. She’s going to be a fighter pilot! How cool is that?!
